Traveling north during the outbreak may be a very safe option.
Another good choice of a safe place might be to travel to an island.
I'm leaning towards. a secluded area like an uninhabited island. i got friends with boats and if i can work it out. ill tey to have basic building materials with me there.
only problem with running off to a secluded area is you need to BOLT the second you hear about an outbreak. Wait 1 second too long and you'll be stuck in the buffet line known as the freeway with everyone else.
